Today is Random Acts of Kindness Day, and I'm thinking about the quiet moments of compassion that truly heal.
In my years as a physiotherapist, I've learned that healing isn't just about exercises or treatments. It's about human connection.
Sometimes, healing looks like:
Really listening when a patient shares their frustration
Celebrating that first painful step after an injury
Explaining complex medical stuff in a way that feels less scary
Holding space for someone's tough days
Recovery isn't a straight line. It's messy, complicated, and deeply personal. A kind word can be as powerful as any medical intervention.
Today, I'm challenging myself—and everyone else—to be a little more gentle. With others. With ourselves.
What small act of kindness will you share? 💛
